oh this is sooo beautiful. That red. It screams delicately.
thanks Kitty – they are very pretty flowers – ‘screams delicately’ ha ha what a great way of putting it.
How absolutely beautiful. I love the shade of red – it’s claret-like.
I like ‘screams delicately’!!
thanks Meanderer… it is such a nice bold colour and a few people around here (Ontario) are not aware that this colour trillium exists! huh…..
Cheers to Kitty for her description!
I’m thinking it’s like Audrey Hepburn:-)
Perhaps just some more names to add to the already delightful list.
too funny. …yah! from now on when I scream…. it will be delicately!! LOL…
Beautiful! Silly me, I thought that trilliums were only white!
thanks Holly – I bet you have them in the woods around where you live….seems like there are more of these deep red ones lately for some reason… usually they are mostly white and a few pink.
Gorgeous! A flower I rarely see, but really love.
thank you Lynn – they are quite a pretty flower that for some reason seem to be abundant here this spring.
