Lovely shot, I like the composition (with a minor exception, I’d have cropped a little more off the top left, the extra triangular piece distracts a bit, but that’s just me 🙂 )
thanks Michael… I see what you are saying and thought about cropping it tighter but I like the long roof line with its symmetric features and wanted to keep the peak where it is and show the double window detail too without making it a long skinny image. a trade off I guess…. they have done such a lovely job of restoring this building.
I know what you mean, I’ve done it often enough myself 🙂 Kept in other elements simply because I really wanted other to remain 🙂 It is a good restoration and you’ve done a nice job representing it 🙂
Michael – after much thought… I agree that the top left corner is too distracting – the photograph should take priority over the subject matter…. being a photo blog and all…LOL.. thanks for the input.
