Cool shot, I love tree roots like that. You half expect some kind of elve or goblin or something to pop out!
thanks Kieran – half expect? I totally expect ha ha ….
It does look like something that belongs in a Lord of the Rings movie! Very cool!!
thanks Holly – yes it would make a good hideout for a Hobbit! There is evidence that some kids have played inside it.
It has a deep message as if I can hear the history of this tree.
The nature is wiser than human beings sometimes.
you are right about nature cocomino – and these trees have been around for a long time!
Does look very magical. Great photo.
thank you. it is a very old tree, just hard to know how old with cedars.
This picture is awesome. It seems to reference the unknown. It is mystical. It is scifi. I love it.
thanks very much. it is all you say and a survivor too!
Have you seen “Sleepy Hollow” staring Johnny Depp and Christina Ricci ?
The headless horseman eventually dissapears into a tree like this one.
yes.. it was cool. this tree conjures up so many neat images… I love it. Will have to try and crawl inside it one day…
