
In the 1930s, Ford used this elegant greyhound as its cars' hood ornament. I love taking detail photos such as hood ornaments and early radiator caps. They are small artistic works. I was lucky here that a blue tent in the background could double as a blue sky effect.

Excellent shot! I love the crispness – the greyhound’s outline is so sharp, and I love the way the red colour runs along the underside of his body.
thanks! the red is from the actual car and another car behind me… positioning is everything at these crowded shows… and patience.
