Known for quality, beauty and creativity, glass and jewellery designer René Lalique (1860-1945) created this stunning crystal eagle's head hood ornament in the late 1920s. I photographed it on a 1930 Cord L-29 Phaeton Sedan at the recent Fleetwood Country Cruize-in fundraising event.

Very dramatic! Gosh, those cars must cost a fortune to insure!
thanks – yes it sure looked neat in the morning sun…it must cost a fortune since they are so beautiful and old – bet they don’t get out much!
We have a Lalique hood ornament for a Dusenberg.
Perfect condition. Not for sale. My wife and I are just caretakers.
But, what we do have for sale is a pair of Bammer’s pants…with a zipper in back.
what the heck are bammer’s pants?
