Intriguing composition. I always find ” natural Abstracts” have an aesthetic impact that makes us reconsider what we really mean when we try to separate abstract from what is supposedly real. Well done work, as always.
I got some really strange looks trying to turn the laptop upside down to see the original 🙂
I wonder if this is what a skydiver sees ?
Nice and colourful 🙂
thanks Hallysann – I bet you did get some funny looks… see how much more recognizable it is the right side up? you are probably right that a sky diver would see it this way, at least at some point during the drop.
Yes, oh yes, and let’s bring on the flipping and the abstract feelings, can’t get enough of those particular elixirs! A beautiful and intriguing photo, Sheila. Adrian
Very nice shot!
thank you iltana. amazing countryside where it meets the sea.
A great abstract shot, Sheila, even without flipping! Love the different colors! 🙂
thanks Ted – it’s like a patchwork and the blues of the water look so neat from the air.
This is great! I love the colours.
thanks M – it was early summer when I took this and the colours were at their lushest I think.

thanks – yes – I agree – when an image plays tricks on your eyes and perceptions then it has crossed into the natural abstract realm.
