Arva Flour Mills, just north of London in Arva on the banks of Medway Creek, established in 1819, is Canada's oldest continuously operating water-powered flour mill. I went there and bought some delicious date squares!
Wonderful shot! I love red and steel grey colours and the light which catches the round part of the building. Very nice. I also want some date squares now!
I had wanted to not include the greenery at first and the composition would not allow me to crop it unless I did a portrait image – all the images I have ever posted have been landscape – so it stayed and you are right this place is right up against nature.
perfect minimalism!
thank you frizztext!

Oops – that should read ‘I love THE red and steel grey …..’. (I was distracted by the date squares!).
thanks meanderer… it is a nice colour combo… and the date squares were almost as good as the organic ones I make! ha ha 🙂
Nice !
thanks 🙂
Interesting contrast between the red window and the metal plates. Nice image!
thank iltana.
I like the way the tree is trying to keep it’s space in the man-made picture, and the way the light has made everything into stripes. 🙂

Excellent shot, very graphic, very well laid out. Adrian
