Goldenrod is a late summer blooming wild plant in many parts of the world. Not a cause of allergies as many people think., it is pollinated by insects. Very bright and yellow, Goldenrod is a perennial in the genus Solidago.

thank you Meanderer. I like these plants but most people here don’t and consider them weeds although the myth that they cause allergies is being exposed … and lots of birds and insects like them.
