A few weeks ago while on a driving tour around Muskoka, I spotted this young White-tailed deer at the side of a county road. She stood looking at me with her sweet face and big ears long enough for me to take a few photos, before a passing car scared her back into the woods.

She’s so sweet. 🙂
and so timid, but she seemed to trust me. 😛
Beautiful image!
thanks m – they are such beautiful creatures.
What a cute creature
I know nigel … could not believe how trusting she was… I stayed very calm.
Awww – beautiful 🙂
thanks….
what a sweet face!
so innocent. glad she stood in one spot.
Those are some ears! I never knew deer ears were that big. Nice capture. 🙂
ha ha… I know. thanks Emily!
Very nice shot, Sheila – and because of the out of focus vegetation in the foreground and the partly shaded and fairly unstructured veg behind the animal, its a very soft shot – which suits this soft, young doe exactly. Good stuff! Adrian
thank you Adrian.
