I found this desert-like windswept view, of a hill and snow drift in Gravenhurst behind the grocery store lit by a parking lot light as the sky loses colour for the day.
A view on King Street East in Hamilton of a ghost sign for Herbert S. Mills English Bone China. This advertising has been there since 1924. Mills' store, a fixture in downtown Hamilton, closed in 1985.
The RMS Segwun and the Wenonah II sit in Gravenhurst's snowy harbour waiting for spring. The Segwun celebrates 125 years in 2012 and is the oldest operating steamship in North America.
This neat old building in Gravenhurst has seen better days - the white on white caught my eye, especially with the snow adding to the monotone effect. The bright blue sky gives it a blue hue.
Another image from last Saturday in London. This is a view in the field beside the parking lot of Trails End Farmers Market. The sparkling windswept snow and the breached snowfence create a cold wintery feel.
