The colourful wild flowers in this meadow are sleeping under the snow and waiting for spring, more patiently than I. Perhaps a trip into the archives of summer flower images would be a solution!
I’m with you Shelia, would love our Spring to come earlier and I’ve found myself looking through my archives viewing all of the flowers I’ve photographed to. This still is a pretty photo with the sun sparkling on the snow.
thanks Joleen – even though winter took a long time to really materialize, I’ve had enough. I now understand why so many Canadians winter in warmer places such as Arizona.
Beautiful composition. My son, who is attending college in London, tells us he can not stand back and forth weather. He wants to get out and walk around.
thanks – yes it’s been strange weather. I drive from Muskoka to London every weekend and last weekend I drove from a snowstorm into warmer temps and rain.
Oh but the shining sun makes it all so wonderful!

But the sparkle will be lost! Beautiful.
thanks… oh well, I’ll find sparkles in the morning dew or splashing creeks.. ha ha..
That’s so pretty.
thanks – we are still getting snow – mostly up north, although this is London a week or so ago.
