Post 1000 – Gray Treefrog

Grey Tree Frog

This image of a cute little Gray Treefrog climbing a maple tree is my 1000 daily post! I hear this frog a lot but have never seen him close up until yesterday. They are a species of small arboreal frogs native to the eastern United States and southeastern Canada. Like chameleons, they have the ability to change colour from grey to green or brown. This little guy froze and pretended he was not there which the fly just above him was lucky for.
Thanks to all who visit my blog and keep me inspired to post images daily – here’s to another 1000!
