A graffiti mural in a back alley on King Street in London pays tribute to painter Vincent van Gogh’s painting The Starry Night. Van Gogh painted his well-known work in 1889 and it is now housed in MOMA’s permanent collection. I bet van Gogh would actually be chuffed that he inspired such street art.

Yes, love it Sheila!
thanks e 😀
And I’m certainly a van Gogh fan! Adrian
me too! 🙂
I’m sure Van the Man would have offered a helping hand had he been around! I’m also a committed ‘ Van ‘ man! 😉
I bet he would have. Imagine if he knew that the world would so revere his art when he could barely eek out a living. A sad reality for so many creative types.
You certainly get some beautiful graffiti out your way! Love Van Gogh 🙂
It’s nice to find and art inspired is an added bonus. 🙂
