then Texas must but be a beautiful place! what I find so neat is that this field is within the city’s limits… not sure how long it will survive before developers get to it since it is near the airport but for now it is being farmed.
Unfortunately in the 13 years that I’ve been paying attention to native plants, I’ve watched as property after property has fallen to development, with more set to follow. There are fewer sites where I can expect to see fields of wildflowers, but at least some are preserves or other protected places that won’t be built on.
