Close on a chewed up purple and green leaf of a Bittersweet plant. Native to Europe and Asia, this vine is considered invasive and poisonous (except to birds). Also called Woody Nightshade, its scientific name, Solanum dulcamara indicates it is a species in the potato genus solanum.
