Meet Toady, the large toad who’s lived in the side garden for the past four years. On Sunday, he was a bit cold and buried himself in the dirt to stay warm. He has a special water dish I keep filled that he likes to sit in most of the summer. 🙂

Good fella! Lucky fella… living in your garden and sharing your world! 😉
thanks – I do love all creatures… my friends joke that I literally don’t hurt a fly… but I have been known to swat mosquitoes that are biting me..lol..
How kind of you to provide him with his own private wading pool. No wonder that he is a longterm resident…
Blessings ~ Wendy
he’s so cute and trusts us not to hurt him – even the dog knows to stay out of his way.
Hi Sheila, I like this picture – and your accompanying words – very much! What a great relationship you two have! Adrian
thanks – I hope he sticks around for another summer. we have some small solar lights in the garden that attract bugs – I think he really like these new additions.
