Recently I planted this little White Pine in the backyard. I’m excited to see it grow – I love these trees with their long, soft needles, lime green glow, and their important native status.

Years ago, we moved into our little house with the big yard. We planted several white pines that we brought home from the family cottage. They are stunning and have negated the need for a fence. This shot is simply stunning. Relaxing somehow.
