Did you know that squirrels will collect certain kinds of fungi, dry them, and stick them in the pantry for winter dining? I learned that a couple of months ago, and it seems to me this would be something a squirrel might find rather tasty. Reply
Great shot! These are Bracket Fungi. (It’s likely, though, that these are the fruiting bodies of just one organism.) Reply
