The muted blue and orange….lovely…my favorite of the complementaries, especially after a season of so much red and green….. (but you shouldn’t be standing in the river in December like that, just to get a perfect photo…) 🙂
Very nice image, Sheila – and I’m not sure why! Its totally pictorial, and very calm, even cooling. Maybe its to do with the tree trunks having more or less the same colour as – but quite a different texture to – the river; and also the slight warmth imparted by the fallen leaves. Its very well done. Adrian

Thank you, sir …perhaps the diagonal? I shall endeavour to take this same scene once we get some snow.
It almost feels like an abstract of lines and form moving onto a void.
