I’ve accepted this, my first challenge, from AJ at Ouch My Back Hurts to post a black and white image for five consecutive days and challenge a fellow blogger each day. You can pick whatever subject matter you like. Today I’m choosing an image from the archives of an old painted door that’s seen better days.
There are only two rules for this challenge:
1. On 5 consecutive days, create a post using either a past or recent photo in B&W.
2. Each day invite another blog friend to join in the fun.
So, I agreed to take up the challenge and for my second day, I invite a blogger ‘from across the pond’ as AJ puts it, who I admire greatly for his artistic skill with a lens, Adrian. As a lover of black and white, I hope you will wish to participate Adrian. It’s fine if you do not. It’s supposed to be fun!
Amazing textures.
Thanks – the sunlight helps it pop.
Oh this is a coincidence, Sheila – I looked at the top of this post and thought “I bet she’s invited me!” >>> and you have, hahaha 😀 !!!!!! Thank you for the invite but I’m not really into challenges >>> its takes all the energy I’ve got to just keep posting, let alone rising to challenges! However, thinking about it my recent posts, I may have actually completed the challenge (on more or less consecutive days…) anyway. Certainly today’s post was B&W, and the next two are probably going to be too – but can’t recall what my two previous posts were!!! Anyway, my friend, thank you for thinking of me – and I like the image you’ve posted here! Adrian 🙂
Must be psychic! You do shoot a lot of great B&W. I totally understand 🙂
Have just found your blog through Carrie of the Shady Tree, Sheila. I really like the way you see the world. Lovely 🙂
Thank you, Robyn! Nice to meet you. 🙂
😃
I love the pic!! And all the attention I’m getting from you! 😉
thanks Vossie! this is fun – a bit out of my normal realm but in a good way. you’re right about the added attention from new places. no more a “WordPress wallflower”…lol
Ouch, life sure is tough 🙂
just a little beat up.
The texture stands out well in your black and white picture here, nice. 🙂
thanks – the harsh light from the side is good for that.
