I took this yesterday morning of the warmer March sun rising over the woods. It was a beautiful sunny day on the plus side of things +6°C (43°F) and I’m amazed at how much the huge piles of snow have shrunk already.
The poor geese on our river were screaming dismay in the bitter winter cold. Thank goodness that is ending! Let’s kick winter in the behind on the way out and welcome spring! 🙂
thanks, Lee – we’ll take 6°… anything above freezing really. It was a record cold February so we’re all happy that silliness is over. Soon it will be warm. I love the heat.

I know what you mean. I was feeling so sorry for all the birds on the river here. It’s all changing now and the birds are much happier this week. 🙂
Beautiful!
thanks, Kathy.I was taught never to shoot into the sun… lol.
Lovely golden tones but 6 degrees C . . . that’s still awfully cold in my book 🙂

Move here, basking in 30C + days here at present which is really pleasant after the 42C we had before Christmas.
