So beautiful! How did you get that effect? I tried to do it with my Christmas tree this year and couldn’t quite make it. It did give me a chance to get into my manual settings and mess with aperture, though. Speaking of “manual,” maybe I should read mine!

  thanks – I used a close up filter and a small depth of field and held the lens on an angle to put areas right out of focus… I did some completely out of focus for potential backgrounds etc. that look like lights.
