Cherry Wood Rot

An old ornamental cherry tree, dead for years and sporting bird houses, finally succumbed to decay and needed to be chopped down.

Cherry is such a beautiful wood. I have a couple of things made from an old cherry tree I knew, and it’s nice to have such a remembrance.
