I had to look up “wort,” since it seems to pop up everywhere (St. John’s wort, liverwort, etc.) It seems it comes from an old word for “plant” — which this is, and a very pretty one, too!
interesting – funny word that… plant eh? this one has so many other names too like Fairy Wings (my fave) and Bishop’s Hat and even… Horny Goat Weed (lol)
