Black Locust

Black LocustOriginally from a small area of the Appalachian Mountains in the US, beautiful black locust trees are another invasive in Southern Ontario. The bees love their white flowers in spring and I like their graceful branch structure. Some say that with climate change this tree will be one that can adapt well as its range moves north.
