I just saw someone else mention aconites, and wasn’t sure what they were. Now I don’t need to look them up. Isn’t it wonderful what yellow can do? Reply
Beautiful yellow! At first glance, I thought it was a tulip but then I read that it’s a aconites. I have never heard of it… I’ll have to google and see if it’s something I can grow in my area. 🙂 Reply

They are so pretty and when yellow is the first colour while it’s still winter, it is a joy!

Thanks, Emily! They are pretty hardy and even poke up through the snow.
