‘Wholesale Boots Shoes Rubbers’ adorns the wall of an historic downtown London building constructed in the 1890s. It first housed a corset factory and later in the 1940s and 50s it was home to a warehouse for The London Shoe Company. Here is a colour version I posted in January 2010. A view on King Street East in Hamilton of a ghost sign for Herbert S. Mills English Bone China. This advertising has been there since 1924. Mills' store, a fixture in downtown Hamilton, closed in 1985.

Since 1969, the Malibu Restaurant has been part of the Dundas Street East community of London, Ontario. Surrounded by angles of wires and posts this great looking old sign has stood the test of time. The Malibu has been owned and operated by brothers Ted, Garry and Jason Fragiskatos since 1991.

This old wall advertising or Ghost Sign - 'Oakville Hardware phone 290' and 'Buckingham Cigarettes' is an image I took several years ago. The brick has since been covered by siding.

A view down a back alley behind King Street in London. This colourful wall is the back door of Echidna Solutions - a web development company who took a proactive approach to the graffiti everywhere and did their own. Looks like the idea has worked!
