Here’s an image of the Sarnia Road bridge that I posted a detail image of the wires a couple of days ago. This historic bridge – that had been at this location for 102 years – was demolished a few days after I took this shot. Its one lane feature slowed people down a bit and made them be more courteous. Although a grey day when I shot this, I thought I should show you what the whole structure looked like before ‘progress’ decided it was obsolete.

Last evening we took our dog to see the hot air balloons launch near our house. He goes nuts whenever one goes overhead so we thought he would get a kick out of seeing them launch. He was fascinated and excited. As you can see it was a clear blue sky with just a slight breeze – the perfect summer’s eve.

A view looking toward the Cenotaph at Dufferin and Wellington Streets in Victoria Park. This London, Ontario park, named after Queen Victoria in 1874, is home to many wonderful annual events. It's also a nice place to relax and enjoy the trees, walkways and nearby coffee shops.
