Sparkling water drops and a blend of earth tones add colour to the spring woods in Muskoka. I have named this Spring Woods I because I know I will be taking lots of woods images this year!
I went to the Third Semi-Annual Chainsaw Carving Event in Gravenhurst yesterday. It was cold and snowy but I managed to get some images of the various carvers and their creations. This cute little fellow sure has a lot of character!
The RMS Segwun and the Wenonah II sit in Gravenhurst's snowy harbour waiting for spring. The Segwun celebrates 125 years in 2012 and is the oldest operating steamship in North America.
Something a bit different... a view at the Boat and Heritage Centre in Gravenhurst. Muskoka has a long history of boat building and people vacationing.
Very close to where I am living in Gravenhurst, there is a lake and the lovely Gull Lake Park. Tall pines and a gorgeous view are just a couple of attributes of this lakeside area.
