Meet Toady, the large toad who’s lived in the side garden for the past four years. On Sunday, he was a bit cold and buried himself in the dirt to stay warm. He has a special water dish I keep filled that he likes to sit in most of the summer. 🙂
Recently I did an engagement portrait for a young couple I know. They have a sweet Victorian home with this wonderful stained glass window that worked well as a prop for a different kind of shot.
My niece Christine got married last Saturday to her love Steve. It was a beautiful wedding and a wonderful reception. Congrats you two – hope you’re enjoying the wonders of Italy!
Sad to say we lost our cat Riki yesterday. She had a long and adventurous life of 16 years. I found her at the Oakville Humane Society when she was 12 weeks old – they said she was sickly and might not live long. She sure showed them! A true greeter cat, Riki loved everyone she met. Here is an image I posted in 2009 of her helping in the garden.
