I purchased a bouquet of fall annuals to photograph – this one, Flamingo Feather, is also known as Celosia spicata.

Celosia, also known as Cockscomb has the look of red velvet. These annual ornamental plants comes in a variety of rich colours and unusual shapes. The purple and white flowers are called Statice but most know them as everlasting.
