Blue Downtown London View

Seen here are two distinct styles of architecture in downtown London. The Dominion Building on the left was built in 1936 and is an example of the Art Deco variant Modern Classicism. The large blue and pink modern building is the Talbot Centre, constructed in 1990.

Constructed in 1936, the beautiful Art Deco "classical modern" style Dominion Building was restored to its former grandeur in 2007. This is a detail of some of the building's many carved friezes.
