Pretty colours adorn the back alley brick wall.

‘Wholesale Boots Shoes Rubbers’ adorns the wall of an historic downtown London building constructed in the 1890s. It first housed a corset factory and later in the 1940s and 50s it was home to a warehouse for The London Shoe Company. Here is a colour version I posted in January 2010. Just click on the image to see it larger with no border.

While downtown the other day, I thought to find again some graffiti I photographed a while ago which had an inspiring quote. It seems that it has been completely removed so I will have to dig out and post the image I have. It appears that London has done a remove and paint over campaign on much of the back alley graffiti. This colourful piece of a remaining wall caught my eye with the sun streaming across it on a diagonal.
