A friendly goose stops for a portrait at the busy fair. The Chinese Goose is a breed of domesticated goose descended from the wild swan goose.

Mama Turtle

A female Snapping Turtle, who’s just laid some eggs, gives me a look. A program to incubate eggs and release the baby turtles is in place in the natural area where I work. It gives them the best chance for survival.

Toady

Meet Toady, the large toad who’s lived in the side garden for the past four years. On Sunday, he was a bit cold and buried himself in the dirt to stay warm. He has a special water dish I keep filled that he likes to sit in most of the summer. 🙂
