Happy July 4th to all my American friends! Here’s an image from the car show this year where a display of Airstream trailers commanded a lot of attention. The birth of this American travel icon was in 1929 when Wally Byam built the first Airstream trailer. The rest is history. 🙂

The historic Dominion Building on Richmond Street, takes on an unusual look as the building to its north, the Talbot Centre, reflects the mid day sun onto it. Built in 1936, the Dominion Building is an example of the Art Deco variant, Modern Classicism.

Garden Flag

One of my neighbours regularly flies colourful flags in her garden. Last week this bright, multi-coloured flag appeared. I took a photo of it as it was flapping in the breeze while walking my dog.
