A sping green branch of a Larch tree glows with late afternoon light. Also known as a Tamarack, the Larch is a deciduous conifer native to the Northern US and Canada.

The Tamarack tree, also known as Larch, is native to North America. It is a deciduous coniferous tree whose needles change colour and drop in the fall. This is a view of a young tree, recently planted in the newly re-built Wonderland Gardens in London, Ontario.
