Dad's White Lily

The white Asiatic lily I planted many years ago in memory of my father is once again in full bloom. It smells so nice and the many flowers it produces is quite impressive, even in a mostly shady garden.

Deep Orange Lily

In my garden, this intensly red orange lily has bloomed again for another year. They don't last long but provide such beauty while they are here.

Summer Lily

Pollen scatters in the wind from a beautiful white, aromatic Asiatic Lily I have gowing in my front garden. This one I planted in memory of my dad who loved these flowers.

Rainy Day Lily

Day lily

This pretty lily grows wild and cultivated all over Ontario.

The common Daylily, also called Tawny Daylily or Hemerocallis fulva, is  native to  Europe, China, Korea and Japan. This familiar, hardy flower is often mistaken as a native wildflower!
