A graffiti mural in a back alley on King Street in London pays tribute to painter Vincent van Gogh’s painting The Starry Night. Van Gogh painted his well-known work in 1889 and it is now housed in MOMA’s permanent collection. I bet van Gogh would actually be chuffed that he inspired such street art.

This whimsical graffiti-style mural by artist Darryn James Rae (see his work at http://www.raeart.ca) adorns the walls of an alleyway at Clarence and King Streets in London, Ontario. This art is part of the Artfusion Fest Block Party 2012 organized by artist Ryan Mahy and is a lively collection of murals in this back alley. Imagine my sheer joy at finding these urban treasures!
