Banyan Tree

Banyan trees look really cool. They are fig trees known for their aerial prop roots that grow into woody trunks.

Port Burwell View

Last weekend we visited Port Burwell, a small harbour community on Lake Erie. There is a large sandy beach, an historic lighthouse and  church, a marina, restaurants, lots of birds, a Provincial Park, and now  a Canadian submarine on display!

Red Tin

The corner of an old gasoline container shows rust, bare metal and the flaking paint of age. I really enjoy capturing images that illustrate the beauty of deterioration.
