Barrenwort

A pretty native perennial in my garden, Barrenwort, is quite hardy and has the sweetest little flowers. It’s also known as Fairy Wings, a name I like better! 🙂

Pretty Pokeweed

The delicate, tiny flowers of Pokeweed stand out with their pink stalks. A perennial plant native to Eastern North America, it was used by Native Americans as a food and for various ailments and by settlers as a  folk medicine.
