Yellow Petal

Yellow Petal

The snow is melting but it’s March, a fluctuating month at the best of times and it’s turning cold again today. My outside daffodils can be seen starting to come up where the piles of snow have receded, so that’s a good sign. Such wonderfully impetuous flowers! :-)

Day 3 – 5 Day B&W Challenge: Delicate Balance

Delicate Balance

I’ve accepted this, my first challenge, from AJ at Ouch My Back Hurts to post a black and white image for five consecutive days and challenge a fellow blogger each day. You can pick whatever subject matter you like. Today’s image is from last May when I did a series of black and white tulips as they dried. At the time, I did not like this image, but on second look, I quite like it now with its lopsided way. Funny that how images can grow on you.

There are only two rules for this challenge:

1. On 5 consecutive days, create a post using either a past or recent photo in B&W.
2. Each day invite another blog friend to join in the fun.

For my third day of this challenge, which is proving to be fun and interesting, I invite a blogger who does amazing work with natural subjects, a fellow Canadian, Victor. I admire your work Victor and I do hope you will take up this challenge, however it is supposed to be enjoyable so it’s totally fine if you do not wish to play! :-)
