In the 1930s, Ford used this elegant greyhound as its cars' hood ornament. I love taking detail photos such as hood ornaments and early radiator caps. They are small artistic works. I was lucky here that a blue tent in the background could double as a blue sky effect.

Archer hood ornament seen at the Fleetwood Country Cruize-in.

This beautiful Art Deco hood ornament was designed by William Schnell circa 1930 for Pierce-Arrow, a car manufacturing company founded in Buffalo and active from 1901 to 1938.

A stone unicorn and one of the few existing Edward the VIII insignias.

A view of the restored art deco-style Postal Station K in Toronto near Yonge and Eglinton. Sculptures by artist Friedrich Winkler (1898-1974) adorn the recently renovated building. Originally opened in 1937 the building was designed by architect Murray Brown.
