Fall Bridal Wreath

My Bridalwreath Spirea looks great in all seasons and turns this lovely yellow orange colour in fall. The small leaves look pretty dancing in the autumn winds.

European Barberry

European Barberry grows wild in Ontario. Also called Berberis vulgaris the large shrub seen here lives at Medway Creek in London. In the spring it has clusters of yellow flowers and in fall it has red berries and brightly coloured leaves.

Purple Smokebush

A truly bizarre looking plant in my friend Linda's back garden - the Purple Smokebush. This colourful shrub is also called Cotinus.
