For a long time now, every time I water my garden I think I should try to capture that pretty rainbow effect – you know the one I mean. So finally, yesterday I tried my hand at it. Got some neat results. Here is an abstract view of garden hose spray in the sun. 🙂
Out of all the sprinkler images I took, this is one of my faves because of its abstract quality. With a shallow depth of field, I am amazed at the effect of all the single drops that are sharp and the rest that is a blur.
We are experiencing a very dry summer and the city has asked residents to water young and old trees. The late day sun was shining through the sprinkler's spray so I took a bunch of shots - most look quite abstract. This 1/60 th of a second exposure gives a trail to the spraying water.
