A little while ago I posted an image of Toady, our “pet” toad who lives in our side garden and has for many years. Introducing Toadess! She is also resident of the garden who has been here for the past two years. She is slightly orange and does look different from Toady but is just as large. She took a liking to some empty annual flower trays that were ready to be recycled so I created a mini toad condo with rocks and a ceramic dish for her and she loves her pink palace.

Meet Toady, the large toad who’s lived in the side garden for the past four years. On Sunday, he was a bit cold and buried himself in the dirt to stay warm. He has a special water dish I keep filled that he likes to sit in most of the summer. 🙂

We are lucky to have toads in our backyard. One “Big Toady” lives in the side garden and has his own water dish. This little guy – about an inch tall – was hopping through the grass when I took his photo.
