A beautiful plant, known as Clematis Tangutica, provides winter interest in the garden. This apparently is a yellow flowered clematis that I will visit again when blooming.

Six fern fronds create a symmetric design in the powder snow. My dog Luke loves to follow me around when I’m taking photos in the backyard which means shoot fast if you see something because within seconds of me taking this image, he had trampled and peed on it… fleeting imagery. 🙂

The ostrich fern's fertile fronds from last season provide winter interest in the garden. For some reason my cat loves to chew on these, that is when he dares to go out in the snow.
