Sunny, intricate and bright, the Zinnias in my fall bouquet have amazing architecture. It is Thanksgiving in Canada this weekend - we have a lot to be thankful for, cheers!

Goldenrod

Goldenrod is a late summer blooming wild plant in many parts of the world. Not a cause of allergies as many people think., it is pollinated by insects. Very bright and yellow, Goldenrod is a perennial in the genus Solidago.

My neighbour Judy has a beautiful garden with Rudbeckia Goldsturm also known as Black-eyed Susans, and purple and yellow coneflowers.

Greater Celandine

This herbacious perennial is native to Europe and Western Asia. A member of the poppy family, Greater Celandine is toxic and considered a weed, but pretty to photograph!

Lucky Shamrock

Oxalis Lucky is a deep maroon shamrock with delicate yellow flowers. Shamrock is an English form of the Irish word 'seamrog' which means 'young clover.' Let's trust it brings good luck!
