So beautiful. I’m much more fond of this muted red than I am of the bright reds of the Christmas season. The sky and branches are lovely, too. Our own season is turning sere — it’s a lovely time of year.
There’s a winter storm warning as far south as San Antonio and the hill country — too bad it’s a holiday weekend, or we’d all be rooting for snow!
I agree, i think this picture is beautiful. There’s a delicacy and precision in those rose hips against the hazy background. I’ve loved the last few of your posts very much (the birches).

thanks – it is a nice red. I know you’re much further south but saw they were calling for freezing temps and possibly snow in Vegas – yikes!
