Imagery of Light 
I had no idea there are redwoods in Canada, except on the Pacific coast. Is this a “redwood tree,” or is the wood red? Or is “winter redwood” a different species? I’m confused! (There’s nothing especially unusual about that!)
This is a Dawn Redwood at the Arboretum where they showcase a lot of different trees. They certainly are not native but can grow here – my neighbour up the street has one that is doing well. They grow really fast in the right spot.
