A view of the 1658 gate of St. Olave’s Church on Hart Street. First built around 1050 it was later rebuilt in 1450. It is one of the few surviving Mediaeval buildings in London, UK.

On Friday, I attended a friend’s wedding at a pretty church that has lots of stained glass. Of course, I gravitated toward the nature-related motifs. 🙂

This abstract design is the stunning colours of a stained glass window lighting up a wall in the Catedral de Havana. Dedicated to Saint Christopher – San Cristobal , this church was built around 1777 in the Baroque style.

Assisi Church Fence

Here's an image I took a few years ago in Assisi, Italy of an ornate fence in the beautiful Basilica of San Francesco d'Assisi. The lovely pinkish hued stone is used in construction throughout the town. Although quite a tourist trap, it is still one of the most stunning, spiritual places I have ever visited.
